Hi I got the Delta 44 soundcard. I like it a lot, I just am not sure how to record the 4 tracks at once in seperate channels. If someone can please explain it for me. In my recording menu in my program, it has MME Delta 1/2, MME Delta 3/4, MME Delta 44 Mon. , MME Delta 44 Multi, ASIO 1 Analog 1 Delta 44 1, ASIO 2 Analog 2 Delta 44 2. Someone please help. Thanks you.

The "inputs" selection in your recording program for each track should show a choice of Left, Right and Stereo for each stereo pair. For ex., Delta 1/2 Left, Delta 1/2 Right, and Delta 1/2 Stereo. Same for the Delta 3/4.

For each stereo pair (1/2, 3/4) the odd number will be the left input and the even number is the right input.

To record four tracks at once you should select Delta 1/2 Left for Track One. Then select Delta 1/2 Right for Track Two. Same for Tracks 3 and 4, using the 3/4 left and right.

Then connect four mono sources into your Delta in inputs 1, 2, 3, and 4. If you've set it up as I described above, whatever is plugged into Input 1 should record on Track 1.

The numbers don't have to match. You can record from input 4 on Track One also. In that case the Track One input selection should be Delta 3/4 Right.

Comprende?

That's just it though, it doesn't have the input left right etc... That is why I don't understand

What program are you using to record?

In Cakewalk Guitar tracks, there was a trap in that the audio drivers list box would show all the drivers, but you had to actually highlight the ones you wanted to use. Maybe you need to do something like that.

Also maybe remove the mme drivers, and just setup the asio ones

Are you sure you are looking in the right place?

In the Cakewalk line of products there is a section where you select which drivers you wish to use. This is different than selecting the Track Inputs.

You need to first choose your drivers (this is a one-time deal), and then select your Track Inputs (this is done everytime you wish to record a new track).

As BH suggested, give us some details on your recording software.
