How to create drums like this in Apple Logic?

I've used the drum feature but it always comes out sounding awful...how does Budo achieve these sounds in Apple Logic? I'm specifically referring to the drums of course.

Doesn't sound like anything exactly complex. Are you talking about the exact sound of each drum, rather than just how he makes the beats? If that's the case, you're best playing around with different kit styles. Use the same beats and just change the sounds around until you find one that suits the style.
