I am new to this. I want to record my acoustic drum kit at home on my netbook.
I have available to me A part PM-7400 preamp, and Symetrix 322 DSP engine, how do I hook them up in the line: drums-mikes-cables-?-?-netbook-software?
The PM7400, has lots of RCA ports, is one RCA port = to one mike?
Are the mike jacks first going to the PM7400 or the 322 DSA engine?
I have some basic working Wave Pad softaware version installed on my netbook, and I also got the 322 DSA engine software installed from their web site, is that enough?
Please, anyone who can make sense of this and is willing to explain it very clearly in basic child/dumb-drummer manner, so that I can understand what does what and what else I need to get, PLEASE do! I will be eternally grateful!
Thank You in advance!
:thumbs up:

Neither of those pieces of gear are meant for studio style recording. They are part of a public address system.
