I have a VS-880EX and want to burn CD's from my mixes onto my computer. I have no idea how to do this. I have a CD-R drive and Adaptec software on my PC, but whether this works with the VS880EX I don't know.
Also, how do I connect the VS880EX to my PC and get it working into Adaptec? Or do I need separate software?
Please help!

Yo CRGMAN:

I read someplace a while back that those who use Roland digital recorders needed to buy the Roland CD-burner to burn CD's.

I don't know if this is still true as I don't use the Roland unit. You can certainly check with the Roland site.

You should be able to transfer your audio to your PC via the SCSI port, if you have a SCSI controller card in your PC. If you don't have such a card, get one, it's way cheaper than buying an additional burner for exclusive use in the Roland. Then you can burn or your regular PC burner.

I think.

Thanks for your replies.

I actually figured out how to line in to my Soundblaster card and record a wave file with Creative Wave recorder. Then burn that to CD with Adaptec burn software. It works pretty good for my needs right now.

When it is in the budget and I need something more professional to market then I'll look into the Roland burner or something else.

Thanks again!
