How Should I monitor?

I have some stand alone preamps going into a Fireface. I know the Fireface has pretty comprehensive routing, but I'd like to be able to get zero latency monitoring. I've also got a mixer I can use for monitoring. I'm not sure about splitting the outputs from my pre's as it may cause impedance problems.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Does it have 'Aux 1' in the fireface? or any other outputs. Im not familiar with the fireface so can you list off the outputs? cheers

Zero latency monitoring is where you basically route your FF input channels straight to your FF outputs that feed your monitors or headphones or whatever. You can do this easily in totalmix. You won't ever have completely zero latency if you wait for the signal to go through your computer and monitor within your recording software.

Disable the output from the individual input tracks in your DAW, and route the input and playback tracks to your monitor outputs in totalmix. Both the input and playback tracks will go directly to your monitors.
