I have protools 6.9.2 and the digi 002 rack...simply put, after I record and then mix my tracks, then what do I do? I mean, what format do I take in for mastering? How do I put my tracks on disc if I need to, etc. Please could someone just tell me what process they go through after they've have finished their recording and mixing sessions....I would appreciate it, thanks

Simply put, you just send the mixes in. PCM 24-bit is the preferred digital method for most. Leave a little room at the heads & tails, don't strap a limiter across the buss, yada, yada.

There's a PDF on the MM site that covers some of this...

If your using protools are you familiar with the bounce to disk function.

Well bounce your mix to a stereo file.
At the sample rate and bit depth you mixed at.
Thats what you send off for mastering.
