I want to use my 4 track as a mixer with my sound card. The card is a basic 1 line in, 1 line out. I have included a schematic of the mixer below this message.
I'm thinking of routing the Monitor out to the line in on the card. The line out on the card will go to inputs 1 and 2. I'll only be recording one track at a time. The Stereo outs on the 4 track will go to my monitors.
I'll use the Aux Send/Return for my Line 6 POD. But that's where I see a problem. I want to record the guitar dry and then feed the dry track back as input for a wet track. But I would have to mute the wet rack while recording to prevent that from feeding back and that means I can't monitor the wet track.
Is there a better way to set this up?
