how much would you expect to pay for....

hi all,,

just wandering how much you'd expect to/be prepared to pay for an electrovoice pl9 microphone.

info is reasonably sparse on them but what i gather they are the same as DO54, and very similar to RE-55 (same capsule but shorter body?)

assuming that the mic is mint condition etc etc

i've read that they are in the same league as the 635a, but with greater low end response...




also, if anyone owns a pl9,,how do you find it? what's it useful for in your opinion....

Worst scenario $50...Id be ready to walk if he doesnt beat $40...peoples perception of how much they can get for something after its been on the market for a week will change.
