I actually play two mid 70's Sunn Concert Lead solid state heads with the matching 610L cabs. I never thought nor do I now think that these amps sound poor. On the contrary they have mojo that can't be compared. That said they do not posess the tube characteristic. I believe that too often we buy amps with our wallets not our ears. I hold firm to my tube amp recommendation.
