I KNOW jake-owa HAS ONE..........;)

what's to like/hate?

i like the idea of a low wattage amp for micing, but also having the xlr out is pretty damn cool........

I've tried the Trademark 10. kicks ass. I couldn't believe a 10 watter was kicking my ass like that. I don't know who carries them in Salt Lake. I tried that one up in Boise. I opted for the Tri-AC instead though because it's EQ is per channel and not global. Also, the 3 Tri-AC channels can be anything you want, so if you want 3 channels of the California mode, go for it. The Trademark 10 and 60 are limited to the 3 set channels of Tweed, California, and Brit. I run the Tri-AC into just about everything from a Roland JC120 to home stereos, and of course, directly to the board for mixing/recording. Sounds killer every time.

Can only comment on the GT2, which is very similar to the preamp of the TM10. I love it.

I used to have the GT-2 for recording and loved it. But for some stupid reason I sold it and got a J-Station. I hated the J-Station and sold that then got the Trademark 10.

And I love my Trademark 10. It weighs nothing, is LOUD for 10 watts, excellent sounds.

This is the way to go for a practice amp or one that you plug into the PA system.

Yeah, you gotta try one to believe it. I'm no vintage amp guy mind you, but the thing made me forget about my POD. Never looked back. For midnight recording or sound experiments. If you have a decent FX box use the loop to route delay while tracking out the direct and mic simultaneously for a multitude of variant tones. And the spring is really good to my ears, I did grow up around many spring based amps. Hell you can even use it for an FX box on it's own.

It really is a versitile little tool for the studio. I'm gonna get the 60 next and chain them. When I get rich....when..

THANKS FOR THE INPUT, GUYS........

I'M an old school type, got an ancient mesa boogie, and i like to crank it so loud it hurts......

but of all the thingys out there, i like the idea of this one the most, for low/no volume recording.....

now, i think if i had the bucks, i'd buy the THD bivalve.......

but for headphone recording, and a quarter the price, the little trademark 10 seems like a good deal....

i have yet to demo one........

i think i would use it both direct and miced and the same time.....

is the speaker that comes with it worthy of tone, or would you have to change it out with a high quality speaker (like a weber) or drive another cab?
