hey everyone, I'm in the process of reconfiguring my studio to a smaller, more manageable setup. I built a new DAW (AMD 64 3200, Gigabyte nForce3, 2GB Ram, 500+ Watt power supply, Sonar3) and I'm using the Line6 TonePort UX2 as my interface (usb powered). I also have a MidiSport 4x4 that I haven't gotten to work on my new system yet (also usb powered). I'm looking at getting a small keyboad controller (Alesis Photon, Midiman O2, Korg MicroKontrol) and I'm concerned about USB power. I know those keyboards have a power adapter option so I'm not that concerned but I might want to add usb fader controls for Sonar too. So how many usb powered device are you guys running? All of my USB connections are off of the mobo, can I expect driver conflicts as well? Would a usb hub help or hurt? Maybe a pci card? Thanks for your input!
