How many mics do you mic your kit with? Name the mics.

Why doesn't anybody play Audix? I bought them partly because they are based very close to my city so I thought I would support my local ... umm.. mic dealers.

Audix D-6 / Bass
Audix Micro D's (3) / Toms
Audix D-1 / Snare
Audix D-3 / High Hat or Ride

Rode NT3 (2) / Overheads

Pearl Export (red wine), and some zildjian a customs and stuff

Great, was just already padding my postcount today.
Let's see.. Slingerland '66 vintage kit chromeoh yeah
Paiste Alpha cymbals, Wuhan China, Ufip Hi-hat, Pearl hardware.

No throne either. What's your solution? I usually throw 2 chairs on top of each other and I've got the altitude I like. (who cares)
 
Neil Ogilvie, what's your setup? What mixer and soundcard do you use (if you use a mixer and soundcard)?
 
Usually,
overheads - ECM800's
Snare (bottom)- SM57
Bass (in front) - AKG D112

Since we never have a great room, I hardly use room mics. We add sequence and shit afterwards to.
With this setup, it sounds pretty good.
