How long should I wait on my Karma?

Hey there. I ordered a Karma K-6 the Thursday before last, and I'm wondering how long I should expect to wait before I give them a call. I absolutely hate dealing with this stuff, and using phones in general, so I would like to avoid it if I can.

It just seems a little odd to me that it's been over a week, and to not have it by now after paying $25 for shipping is rediculous. Those of you that have Karmas (If you're on the East Coast also, it'd be more accurate), how long did it take for you to recieve yours?

I ordered MoreMes the same night, got them, than recieved replacements after a mix up, and I'm still yet to hear a knock on my door for my Karma.

Call them and get a tracking number.

It may be back-ordered, If you don't call them you won't know.

My Karma order took quite a while. One of the items I ordered was back ordered at first. Then once it was finally in, they were out of the other. I was pretty upset with how they handled it. I don't know why they didn't ship the first item right away since it was in stock when I ordered it. To make a long story short, when I finally called them a month later, they said that the item that was originally in stock actually was not due to a screw up at their end. What upset me the most is that they should have called right away to let me know that so I at least knew what was up and could get my refund. They were fairly easy to deal with once I contacted them though. I would give them a call. Be aware that when you call, the message will probably be for HALO Guitars, but that is the right number. For what its worth, the mics that did finally come far exceeded my expectations.

Thanks for the info, xstatic. UPS guy shows up around 6ish so if it's not here today I will definitely be calling them.

I ordered 4 K-Micro and then they mailed me asking for more money to sent then through UPS, otherwise they will send it through regular mail and they aren't responsible if it doesn't arrive.
And UPS shipping costs more than the mikes themselves (no surprise), so I'll just cross fingers and give up to all hope if they don't arrive in 2 more weeks.

My K-6 mics were ordered on a Friday, shipped the following Tuesday, and spent a week in transit (UPS). I'm in the Philly area.

I've always received reasonably quick and honest/helpful responses from the "Contact Us" link at the website.

Oh---let me save you some time with the store-them-vertically issue (which is not practical to do in the K-6 case because of its layout). My advice from Karma was:

"As it is recommended, it is not necessary. Storing it horizontally will not
cause ribbon sag alone it has to do with conditions in of the storage as
well. Just make sure if stored non vertical that you keep the case in a
comfortable room temp setting."

Ah, she did reply very quickly. Apparently anyone that ordered a K-6 was sent an email regarding them being sold out via the e-mail on their paypal account. I never got it, because I used my dad's email to make my paypal account.

If you ordered the K-Micro's, I hope you ordered the newer ones witht he higher spl ratings or they will be virtually useless on anyting due to the distortion.

I also just realized one more odd dealing with Karma Mics... They mentioned something about paypal issues which delayed their being able to refund me. The odd thing is that I did not use paypal, notr did my refund come through paypal. There were some odd things, but all in all once I took the initiative to call them to check on things, the ball started rolling pretty quickly. Up until that point I spent a month or maybe even two months kind of wondering.
