Im asking because I do have monster cables hooked up to my krk rp5 monitors and the sound is clear (was also clear on my generic cables from what i could hear). And I Was thinking about upgrading my generic xlr cable hooked up to my microphone to maybe some mogami or canare cables....would that be worth it?

cables are one of the most important parts of a setup! cheap cables eventually wear down, brake, or worse, you begin to lose parts of the sound, and you dont even know what your missing.

make your own cables, its cheaper, you just need to learn how to solder.

look at mogami quad bulk wire, or other xlr type cable. use neutrik or equvalent jacks and what not.

do not skimp on the cables!
