how good is Kazaa?

It is good to find video, softwares and etc... The only thing it is less good for is audio. For audio, you're better with AudioGalaxy (http://www.audiogalaxy.com).

Now the problem is that audiogalaxy is now starting to block some commercial songs.

Kazaa uses spyware. Do a search of this bbs on kazaa and find out about this. It may influence your decision.
 
Kazaa is God's gift to man. Almost anything you can think of can be dowloaded off of it. I mean anything!

Go to http://www.lavasoftusa.com download AD-AWARE and clean the shit off your hard drive.

Oh and BTW, Audiogalaxy installs Gator and all it's fallen angle subprograms. Stay away from these spyware laiden meneces.

Consider WinMX, it does not have any spyware.

I had KAzaa a while, and after a few weeks I installed Ad-Aware: My computer was FULL OF SHIT. you're being watched, kazaa users.

And I also don't know what the problem is , but a bunch of users at this forum seem it is so funny to keep posting threads claiming how great Kazaa is. I'm tired of kazaa, so please, post something relevant, or don't post a thread at all:mad:
 
Kazaa lite is better if you worry about spyware. Get it while you can.
 
Kazaa + Adaware = no go

I installed Kazaa and then ran Ad-aware to remove the spyware... problem is Kazaa wouldn't run without the spyware. Bdgr is right, Kazaa-light, which is a cracked version of the program is the only current option if you want to use Kazaa without spyware.

I'm wondering what door all the stray Audiogalaxy users are going to wind up at ;) Kazaa, Gnutella, WinMX. It will be hard to replace Audiogalaxy.
 
I just wanted to let everyone know that last month i was on a kick to download a lot of programs from kazza.After i did a week after i did a scan on my computer and found out that i had downloaded 3,226 infected files.I forget the virus name at this moment but it seems to have spreaded through there network.So check out the files that you download.I had no real damage but i had to spend the night deleting and repairing.I got infected before nortons had the dat file in there update.If you have the latest virse updates your protection should catch it.Hope this post helped someone.

BTW, Monte is right. Those progs. you download from Kazaa are certified "flame" material in these neck of the woods.

nobody is forcing you to read my thread so quit whining.

i can share my home recorded songs on those filesharing sites and thats not stealing.

its related to home recording because its a way for us to get free exposure.

this is an information gathering thread so if you have nothing to contribute then shut it.
