How does the Marshall condenser sound?

I have had good luck with this microphone. I think if you have a good setup with good mic pre-amps this will be a great addition to
your studio. I have one of the XLS-2001 and
an Audio Technica 3525 and both do a great
job. My group paid big money and recorded the
vocals on the first album with Both the Rode
NT-1 and the AKG3000. We used the sound beds from the first album and re-recorded the vocals with the XLS-2001 and did a heads up
A/B comparison between the mixes on many different sets of monitors (home stereo, PA System, studio monitors, boom box and computer) and found the tone to be better in this application.
