How do you change the RAM of the computer. Mine has only 60. What do I have to buy?

u need to buy RAM chips sold at any electronic store. then youll see inside your computer little slots for them to go int. but first you must find out what kind SDRAM? or whatever else is around these days

where in my computer do i look so I'll know what kind of ram I have?

Open the computer case. On the main large board inside you should notice a row of 2 or 3 slots about 10 cm long (black) with white posts at either end. Mounted on these are RAM (you can see small ics soldered to the RAM.) Try and release the current RAM by moving the posts away horizontally from the slots. The RAM will click and U can lift it out. Take care not to touch gold connector. Put in protective anti static bag or metal foil to computer shop and let them identify it.

Anywhere from $42 to $200. First ID your memory, then you can start pricing.

I recommend getting memory from crucial.com , it's some of the best available and it's some of the cheapest. They just recently dropped prices on PC100/133 again I see.

Slackmaster 2000

Do you know what kind of motherboard it is? If you do you can either look in the manual or just search online for the specs. It should tell you exactly what kind of RAM your board supports and you can take that to a store that sells RAM and ask for it specifically. Installing is easy, you just have to be sure the chips are firmly seated in their slots (depending on the type there may be an order they must go, but probably not). Good luck :D
