Hello
So heres my basic question:
If i split up an audio track into 3 regions (or any number), how do i send each region to a different auxiliary input?
Trust me, ive tried and i cannot do it at all.

Currently, this is what ive been diong:
Just making 3 copies of the track, then muting the regions i dont want for each track then sending those to different aux inputs. Technically, it works, but it just seems like an extremely sloppy and "incorrect" way of doing it.

THanks

You can not send a region to an aux track. You send the inst/audio/aux tracks to an aux track. If you want to work with 1 track with multi regions you want to process differently, you can put multiple and different effects/processors on a single aux track and use automation to mute/adjust the effects that you want when the region is played. This is not typically done in PT. I hope this helps.

you can add 3 bus sends on your audio track, then automate the send level so that
bus one is outputting for region one, but buses two and three aren't
bus two is outputting for region two, but buses one and three aren't
bus three is outputting for region three, but buses one and two aren't.

to me, this is more hassle though.....

i'd just do it your current way, but instead of automating a mute, i'd delete un needed regions.
