How do you put time signatures on large wave files?

Howdy- I was wondering if any one knows how to put time codes on large wave files (ie-live recordings) so as to split up the seperate songs without having to cut them and save them as individual wave files- cheers!

It's not entirely clear to me what you have in mind, but if you mean that you want to create a CD with tracks from you file, but you don't want to divide it up for that purpose (er, why not?), then search for CueListTool on the net, which is a freeware program that converts track cues (shift/f8 in Cool Edit 2.0 onwards) into CD tracks via Nero or the like.
