How do you like the MXL R144?

I picked it up about a month ago, as I needed vocal mic for our recordings. And it made my singer sound so much better... What's your opinion. Should I keep using it, or should I get a large condenser? You can hear it in the contest forum under "Song 2". Tell me what ya think.

It's a microphone that I usually suggest putting up in front of a guitar cab.
Have you tried it in that set up mavn?

Yeah, just gave it a listen but only through computer speakers ....I like it.

If your looking around check out the CM-6 for a $350. investment the quality is to be phenomenal!

I don't know Mav ..... if it was me and I was going to make a choice, it would be the CM-6 for it is a tube LDC microphone with 9 possible polar settings.
