I have a triton LE and I want to use it with cubase LE. In order to pan the bass drum, snare, etc I would need to record each part separatley? Like first the bass, then snare, then high hat, etc? How do you guys go about doing this? Also how do you make drum rolls? I don't get how to do that.

what do you mean? after I do everything in MIDI I do it again in audio? I don't get it...why do I have to record it in audio after? I'm confused,.

Because Midi is only information and not audio, Once you track midi you can go in and make changes add drumm rolls ect. once complete the you playback and record the audio to track...

I just don't get how to turn my MIDI in audio. What do I do after I finish my MIDI parts?

no offense, but do you really have a Triton LE and not know how to work midi? It is much easier if you first read about it online and perused the manual that it came with. It will make sense.

I can work the sequencer and edit my parts and everything. I can work it on the sequencer on the Triton. Just not sure how to do it on my computer software.

Well since you doing midi in your Triton, then heres the easy way to do this.

Solo every track on your keyboard and run them into your soundcard from the computer, and record it in your Cubase. (audio)

So you have one track for every instrument you have playing recorded in your cubase, even seperate the drum tracks to kick, snare ,hats etc.

If you want to compose a song midi in your computer then read up on the link.
Hope this clears it up bro.

so if I want to turn MIDI in audio I would just play back the MIDI with whatever sound I want from it in an audio track?

thanks a lot for the advice. I'm sure it's easier than i'm making it out to be. Once I actually get my DAW I can try it. Right now I have nothing and i'm waiting for it to be built and shipped out to me. Another month...:(
