Hat STYLE. Not contents.
So I was mastering a song after eating some peanut butter, and I realized that I needed more vocal tracks. I grabbed my samson S-12 and laid out the tracks.

When I finished, I saw peanut butter in the grill of my mic! I tried to suck it out, but that didn't work. Whatever shall I do?

Can you remove the grill and clean it out? Using maybe a q-tip and very little water? Don't use water if you can't remove the grill.

VomitHatSteve,
Given your name, I'd just be happy it's peanut butter.
You might try alcohol. Then again, that's probably how you go the name! :D

just leave it there and then your next recording session is sure to be as delicious as this one was.

Was it smooth or nutty peanut butter? Cos that mic of yours will have a lovely smooth sound to it if you wer lucky!

What, no jelly? You won't get that sweet sound without jelly.

Use a Power washer, my mate used one on his Vimarama and it yelped, so I presume if it will get mud off a dog, a mic's going to be a piece of piss. :D

I bet Mister VomitHat has got his mic oh-so-clean already! He doesn't need our help!

There's an old wifes tale about peanut butter being used to remove chewing gum from hair and clothing. So leave it on the grille in case you get chewing gum stuck in it. At the rate you're going...

Give it to Elvis

Freeze the mic overnight. Then strike it strongly with a hammer. The frozen peanut butter will fall from the mesh grill in a cloud of dust.

It's a little known fact but you can save on shampoo by cleaning your hair this same way. But you need a larger freezer.

Quick question.....were you 'jamming' when you besmirched your mic?
