I don't use D1600, neither HS... but I think I will try to give the next logical things to do the download. You wanna transfer the data from your D1600 to your PC right ?

Several way you can do I think... :
1. IF you have only 2 tracks data, burn your data into CD on D1600 CD Writer, load to your PC. Record the audio from CD into wave from HS by selecting the recording source from CD audio.
2. Cum ooon, I have more than that tracks... use the SPDIF out of your D1600 to SPDIF on your sound card. Transfer your data digitally. This way, you'll get better result (no quality reduced in transfer).
3. Hook the audio output of D1600 into Line 1/2 of your sound card. Record audio tracks in HS one by one. Each time you finish one track, get back and record another. Use MIDI to play back the D1600, due to sync the playback with HS...
That's all I know for now.. I'll come back again if I find sumthin might help...
