How do you calculate delay...

I know a lot of people use delay in tempo with the songs but I have no clue how to calculate it. For example if I had a song at 160 bpm how would I calculate that.

It's an easy formula: 60,000/bpm = length of a 1/4 note delay in milliseconds.
So in your case of 160bpm, that would be a 375ms delay.
