PK21 Productions, whats it sound like, hmmm, a production company maybe? Its just a name. What it consists of is two eight track recorders, a sampler, drum machine, fxs processor, a cheezy yamaha keyboard, 4 track recorder used for a mixer, two different styles of mics, an Aiwa Stereo which probably screws up my mixes cuz the speakers are old and harsh and a bunch of cables with a few inspiring posters of hiphop artists on the wall. Im gonna finance my guys album with my tax return, if I get any, and promote locally with stickers and a few tracks on a demo cd with some snippets. I get us some decent shows for the area, we all chip in and try to get shows organized. My point that was kinda made earlier. I consider myself a un offical company. Weve gotta fan base, we make our own music, write our own shit, book our own shows and make money doing it, and are plotting how to get out to the world. Which that will mean going threw a "real" production company, if we find em, getting promoted by them nationally, and they take a majority of the money.
Make a name whether its like fiddy cent comin up on some mix tape albums or Swiss Beats who did one beat on DMX's first album, which was the Anthem song, and go from there. (Some one correct me if Im wrong on the Swiss Beats thing, very possible im off) I can sit here and say Im the dopest, hottest producer, but til Ive got nation wide recigntion, Im not shit. It dont matter how dope my production is. Know what Im sayin?
Unless you are really talented( and its very obvious that dont really mean too much in this industry anymore), youve gotta have connects. With in our crew we have a few connects, but its one of those chain things where my guy knows the dudes friends brother who works at such and such studios said he "might" be able to get your demo to his brothers cousin who knows such and such.........
P-diddy was working for a big company before he bailed out on his own. He had to work for free a couple of months jus to get that job.

I just wanted to offer some constructive critisism on your website. It is very un organized and hard to navigate. It is uninviting and the white background kills your eyes after awhile. I have started to read through it and it seems that there is good info there... I just can't stand the layout of it to read it too long. Also an updated Vandor logo might serve you well, yours kind of looks 1995ish all pixelated and boring. No offense, but it looks like it was made in a Microsoft Paint program that was bundled with Windows 3.1. I don't know, maybe you don't depend on a web presence or something but if you do at all, I'd suggest giving the site a make over.. Just my 2 cents, take it or tell me to screw off.. whatever. Take care either way,

The site is kept simple - technically - because most of our business is Foreign, and all the hoopla you'd like added totally jackasses most for their translation software and would overload their systems to the point of non-usability. We've been there, and went back out of necessity.
The so-called Third World is catching up, but the working class still have a long way to go.
I do agree with you, the site could use a bit more jazz, but it would eliminate a lot of foreign people from entering this Best Of All Industries with hard and accurate information.

The two biggest things from a design aspect are the background and the menu bar. The background problem is what as now was "busy" (too much movement and distracts the focus of attention) and also does not contrast well with the forground text (the background has extreme light and dark, the text is white, so it gets lost).
The menu bar has the same problem in that red does not work on top of blue with out some sort of light/dark scenerio (light, light, light red - bordering on pink - ontop of blue........or a slightly less light red ontop of a dark blue).

Without it, the article still carries all of the information pertinent to your site & services, doesn't it? Yeah, I've heard of copyrights & use licenses, and I've also heard of excerpts. Have you?

See, in THIS country (no room for argument here, buddy), this is what that word means. And, as far as "protecting," it's not the minorities i'm trying to "save."
