I remember in older versions of cubase that I recorded muted tracks using a combination of key commands such as ctrl+alt+F1. It was so useful, if -in cycle mode-, someone wanted to demonstrate many different versions of recorded tracks. How do I record muted and unmuted tracks in cubase 5.1?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'recording a muted track'?

Why 5.1? You should update that man. :)

The key commands are probably just different in 5.1 Look up the commands in preferences. And yeah 5.5 is WAY better and should be free to you.

Here comes the part where we don't hear anything else from the OP....

The version of Cubase that has been cracked. A Cubase owner would have upgraded to a newer update. It is obvious.
Btw, I never said anything or placed blame. :)

lol I love the response......

you either have to be reluctant to upgrade (still haven't upgraded the nuendo 3.5 but I bought 2.0 with a powercore card in 2001 and none of that hardware is vista/win7 compatible) or have replaced the system (like me cuebase7 on a 2006 mac pro).

cause they are using an outdated engine that until cubase 6.5 / protool 11, the old ones had major flaws

.......BTW is there a new term for "Don't Copy That Floppy" ?

One of my sofware engineer friends said that he might have a cracked demo. in which some of the enhanced functions didn't work until you registered the software and "Upgrade".

lol
