how do I record MIDI to audio?

Well I use Acid Pro 4.0 and I'm having some problems recording..

I make my MIDI progression which I can hear when I play.....byt the way, I'm using the synth from my keyboard, not computer...

Well after I make the MIDI, I go to record, click on audio, then click on record......well while it "records", I can hear the MIDI playing just fine and on top of that, the monitor is showing that there is sound......the problem is, that I see that it's recorded the audio file and I can see the soundwaves on it....but I can't hear anything from it....why?

im not familiar with acid but make sure the track that contains the audio is enabled, ie not muted and make sure nothing else is soloed

double check the outputs of those audio tracks. there is a little icon next to the track number that allows you to select the outs.

if that doesn't work, open those tracks in SoundForge or whatever program that plays wav files, and check if those wav files are any good
