Help!!!! Im newbie to midi

HOW do I make MIDI work for a Triton LE on Adobe Audition using the MIDI IN OUT on the creative fatality Xfi sound card

Thanks!!!

I am not sure what do you want to do exactly but you need to connect Triton's Midi Out to Your card's Midi In.

In multitrack view, you need insert a midi track and turn on "L" button.
Double click on midi track and you will get to Midi sequencer.
Set inputs to ALL, set outputs to ALL.
Choose one of your VSTi's for sounds.

Now you can record midi using your Triton as Midi keyboard. The sounds will come from your VSTi plug, not from Triton.

This is possible only in version 3,0

Where is the L button on Adobe Audition?

ok I went to Insert the went to Midi from File the I selected my midi file I see a Map button but not an "L" button are they the same??

Hello, Happy new year.. ok I went out and got adobe auidition 3.0 I had 1.0 how do I use my Sounds on my trtion intead of a vst

OK I own Korg M1 and I use it as midi keyboard. When I need Korg M1 sounds I get them from Korg M1 VSTi software (Not directly from my synth)
so I have never done that.
I remember Korg announced TRITON VSTi software as well so that would be alternative solution. (which is easiest one 'cause you are able to mix without your keyboard plugged in)
You can always record your triton as audio (WAV) and get its sound but of course you can't edit it after like you could do with midi data.

I love Audition but when it comes to midi I use Cubase. I don't think Audition is the right midi tool yet.
So I record, edit and export midi in Cubase and then I import it to my Audition session and mix with my guitar, bass and vocals.
