how do i make a song an mp3

how do i go about getting a song from a cd onto my computer? do i have to have a certain type of program, or download something. and is this hard to do. thanks for your help. it is appreciated.

you need what is commonly called a 'ripper'.

MusicMatch.com is one of the easiest to use. Try hitsquad.com for alternatives.

Musicmatch is free and easy, check it out. I was using it until I bought Wavelab, which is way cool and very expensive. Dave
