***how Do I Hook My 1680 To A Computer And.......

hi

(1)how do i hook up my 1680 to my Compaq Pesario,
i tried looking it up in the manuel but couldnt find it.
do you also know what page its on?

(2)also,im about to buy MTV music generator for computer.
i wanna put in some samples on some guitar tracks on the VS.
can i do that?

if this helps i have theses CD that came w/ the recorder.

hi,
not to sound ignorant,but were on my computer will i find the sound card.whats it labeled?is it just were headphones would normally go?

please help
 
It will be in that same area but will probably have some type of symbol to show it as an input. You will want to use the LINE INPUT not the MIC INPUT so mess around with the inputs and you should get it right. If the signal is way too loud you are probably using the mic input, no sound the headphone jack, sounds just right then, bingo, you got the line input.

In Windows double click on the little speaker icon in the system tray and the windows mixer will pop up. Go to Properties- Recording. This will allow you to choose what inputs to monitor and their levels.
