I can get the midi sync to work but when i record , the audio dosnt show up on sonar, just the midi signal, where do i go to to get it to read to actual audio signal no just the midi?????????
Audio information cannot be transferred through MIDI. If you want to record your drum machine's internal sounds, you do that with a patch cable or RCA's or something.
If you have the midi signal, you have the essence of the performance recorded though. What you need now is a VST drum plugin to route the MIDI notes to. This will give you the audio output. Or you could simply assign a midi drum patch to give you basic drum sounds.
