How do I get rid of the screech

Does anybody no how I could get rid of the screech sound from the guitars when the fingers are lightly touching it? U tried EQ but that didn't really help.

Don't make it in the first place. It's a technique / equipment thing....

Good set up, good strings, clean hands (depending upon what you're playing, try soaking them in warm water before takes), and good technique.

However if you already have them, there's some stuff you can do to minimise with notching EQ at the particular frequency and notching volume at the exact point of the screech. The success of either of these depends very much upon where the sound is in respect of the note/s you're playing.

As with lots of post-editing, it's often quicker to get a better take in the first place... and you thus learn how to avoid the problem in the future.
 
I think that flat-wound strings have this problem a lot less.
 
Try coated strings - Elixers, Cleartone, Martin Lifespan, D'addario EXP - find some you like the tone of. Learn better finger technique (lifting the fingers off the string more than you do).
