How do I embed videos?

How do I embed a Youtube video in my post? What am I doing wrong? On Youtube I click the "Embed" button. I copy the long highlighted code. On this message board I then click on the Youtube icon above my message that says "Wrap (Youtube) tags around selected text". I paste the code I copied from my Youtube page and it goes in between (youtube)(youtube). But it doesn't work. Please help. I'm new to this.

Don't use the embed code, use the regular url that appears in the address bar when you are viewing the video.

Put that between youtube tags like this....

When you post there is a Youtube icon link above the area where you type, just enter that funky xUq1H456 between the tags.
