How do I do this?

Just finished a live recording and the mixdown. I have the song files with applause and files that are just applause. I want to lengthen applause in places and add in others. How do I do this in n-track? I've used it for awhile now but never did anything like this.
 
Couldn't you just cut the track using a wave editor and keep inserting the parts after each other?

Yeh, that is what I ended up doing, but at the time I didn't know how. I have since figured it out. Thanks anyway.
 
For those who may come after...


N has the ability to read a WAV file as many times and on as many different tracks as you like. Cloning the applause track, and then shifting the clone (Ctrl-click-drag) will in effect lengthen the applause.

You can also Copy/Paste (Ctrl-C, Ctrl-Shift-V) a part within a single track. This basically duplicates the part (WAV) and adds it to the end. So N simply plays the WAV over and over again.
