Hi there I'm new here !
Does anyone know if it is possible to connect. Presonus firepod and an Rme fireface to run in conjunction with cubase.
I'm using p.c and have downloaded and have recently bought a second hand firepod. I have installed the drivers And this worked 1st time.
When I rebooted the next day the firepod lost connection and wouldn't connect.
I have since reinstalled the driver but still no firepod
Can anyone help ?

I'm curious how you can use Firewire at all anymore, as it was obsoleted on Windows 10. I have a Tascam FireOne that I never got full use out of before obsolescence hit. And where do you get the hardware interface that has a Firewire port?

It's like if I wanted to dip my foot in the pool again, I'm forced over to USB interfaces, of which there are many.

I know you can run Firewire in parallel - but I don't think you can run different brands at the same time.
