Panning
To pan your track. Click on the track where you set your volume.
0 is extreem left and 128 is extreem right. 64 is dead center.
Where you recorded it at.
Another method:
Double click the the audio track itself and then right click on the audio track that pops up the windows will say several things...
Look for envelope click on it , and volume and pan should come up. Click on pan, and adjust the line up for left down for right.
Standard settings I use:
On the track settings I mentioned first...
Kick @ 64, Snare @ 50, Overhead L @ 50, Overhead R @ 80,
high hat @ 70, Tom 1 (L) @ 50, Tom 2 (Mid) @64, Tom 3 (R) @80, split the difference, if there are more toms. Set them how they are played left to right, right to left, it doesn't matter... just be consistent...
Bass @64, Rhythm guitar @ 55, Lead or Guitar 2 @75...
Cook on medium heat and season to taste...
Adjust it how you like...
