I notice when I am close to the speakers it sounds better, Better than what? but when i am further away it is not as good. Is it an equalizing issue? or compression? How could I edit these in audition? Here is a link to the track -

To my ear it sounds very good.

If you mixed this then you have the ability to make it sound any way you want.

Else I smell spam.

You need to be more specific as to what you want feedback on.

Ok thanks, to me it just does not sound as good far away from speakers as it does in headphones or closer to the speakers.

That is normal, especially comparing headphones to open speakers. But you should mix on open speakers. If it sounds good there it will sound good on headphones, maybe different but still good.

How does it sound in the car?

But this all very broad terminology; define good and better. What parts?

Hi Jd,

That is the nature of sound and music. It will always sound better louder and more direct. Especially if you are the creator.

Mixing wise this sounds like you got right on top of what you intended.
