How can I get drums sounds out of my QSR rack??

Hi, I got an Alesis QSR rack module. I can't get drum sounds out from direct keyboard or through my computer program. My computer program gets close. If you put it on track 10, 8 different drum sets come up; but the rack doesn't change banks to a drum bank. Whatever preset group it is on, the number of the drum set plays that number of the preset plays. Also, when I change banks, it has 3 preset groups, 1 user group and one gen midi group. So I don't know how to get to the drums. Can you help me?
