How can I boost my microphones?

I have two sure sm58's running to one amplifier. I have the amp as cracked as it will possibly go. I have a Dyna compressor pedal and a boss ge-7 equalizer. I'm trying to get more volume without cranking my amp to 11. Should I use these pedals? Or should I stick to just running the amp on full blast?

Is the amp giving you the sound you want? I am not sure I understand the question...

Are you feeling that the level is not hot enough into your DAW?

For best results, you want to connect your mics to a mic preamplifier. That's what they're for.

Low Z microphones into a HiZ guitar input = no volume.

Get some of these.
