how about this?

I like this. I could have sworn I'd replied already though. <scratches head>.

The vocals feel kinda hidden. I can make out the words but I definitely want them to be brighter.
The kit doesn't really carry much weight either, although I'm not one to talk about that. :p

Thank you. I posted this last night and got no response. Did some tweaking and threw it up again. I just figured that the first one stunk so badly that it didn't deserve response. I'll give the vox another listen. I origionally had more highs on them, but they sounded a bit too bright (still learning my monitors). As for the kit, being a drummer and as they are the only instrument I can say I really play, I tend to bring them back a bit so that the "drummer ego" doesn't come into play. Thanks again for your input!

That's not uncommon at all. Don't take it personally. ;)

It could be a double tracking thing. I find that it can make vocals sound kinda unfocussed.

Haha. I often add piano, bass, guitars, vocals to records.....I know that feeling. :)

Go loud and proud, my friend.

Thank you for an honest, no ego response. The vocals are double tracked is places, I will re-visit. Started a new mix with more prominent drums, but it's getting late, and the mattress beckons.
