Love the juxtaposition of the instruments--I'm a big fan of strings w/acoustic guitars, and I like the way you've done it here.
If it were me I'd have the acoustic a bit brighter--seems a bit heavy in the mids. I'd also have the drums drier and more upfront. These are my tastes though, and completely subjective.
I love the flute? Samples or the real deal?

Thanks, Antichef. Good ears, man. Not hardwood, but a laminate, which is the same thing. Clay flute sounds interesting. Never had one of those. I've had wood and bamboo and even just a metal pipe called a fife, but never clay. I'll bet it has a unique sound. Keep playing, it'll come to you.

I don't wanna sound too negative, but I assume you posted looking for constructive criticism, so here goes:
Something's going on with this mix that I can't quite put my finger on. It sounds like back in the day when I recorded something on my portastudio with DBX on, then tried to play it without DBX (or maybe vice versa). It seems very pumpy, I guess I'd say. Is there a really heavy compression on something (or everything)? In addition to that, I almost feel like the overall volume is fading in and out over a much longer cycle - like several seconds. (this could totally be my ears)
and there are some clicks - I think it might be some harmonics on the acoustic, maybe - but I hear much more click than tone.
How did you record the acoustic? Is it plugged in? That's kind of what it sounds like. Either that, or it was mic'd too close and too hot. I'd like a little more room sound/air/space in the acoustic.
Finally, the drums provide a nice backbeat (albiet too quiet), but the big tom fill that happens occasionally just screams "Drum Machine!" to me. Alesis SR-16, by any chance? I'd lose that fill, personally, to simplify the drum track. Let it provide the rythm and energy, but don't let it take the lead, even for a couple seconds.
I think it's a very cool song, and well played, but I think the mix needs some tweaking. Keep at it!

I think this is my favorite one of yours so far...and I've heard quite a few.
Can't add much on the mix...drums sound better to me on this one, although still not entirely to my liking (sonically, not performance-wise).
I just think the whole composition is great. I really like the basic rhythm you have going - almost anything layered over it would've sounded cool, but you made some very bold and unique choices that worked well.
