Hi all,

I seem to be amassing a collection of breakout boxes for recording music via PC, each about 10" to 10.5" wide, two inches high, and the deepest about 10 inches in depth.

Right now they're all stacked on top of my PC which is fine, but I'm afraid if I cross my legs, they'll all go splat.

I have a small box for rackmounted effects that I purchased a few years ago in Guitar Center. But are there any prefabricated boxes that I could place these smaller than rack effects units in to get them off my PC?

Thanks,

Ed

(BTW, mods, please feel free to move this message, if I'm posting it in the wrong place.)

Any good at Do it yourself building? Why not build a BOX yourself. Even with simple hand tools and a few common materials, you can build a box or rack for them. Or just buy some double sided foam tape and put one 1"piece on each corner of the top of the units and stick them togeather. It removes fairly easy too. Even tape them to a table or your computer, or inside your rack.

You can get rackmount shelves with screwholes to attach your gear into a standard rack:

FitZ2--my woodworking skills are pretty lousy, and I figured anything prefab would looking better than what I could build.

Mshilarious--I'll see if that does the trick.

Thanks guys!
