SLuiCe: Thanks for checking it out. I think I know what you mean about the highs, it isn't a bright sounding recording. As for getting it done by pro's, you mean everything or the recording?
The Ghost of FM: Not familiar with Gilbert O'Sulivan, what band does he play in? I checked out a few of your tunes the other day but didn't comment - cool stuff!
twist: Thanks!
Pedullist: Good!
B.SABBATH: The piano and lead guitar parts are what I added most recently, everything else I recorded... don't think it was last winter, think it was the one before - can't remember. I don't like that drum screw up at the end, I was starting to fall off the beat and did that snare thing in frustration. If I ever get the drums set back up in here I may consider redoing the whole drum track. Thanks for the feedback Sam.
powderfinger: I rolled off quite a bit of highs on the electric guitars. The acoustics I think are contributing most to the boomyness followed by the quite loud, faderwise, but almost imperceptable bass line! Thanks for listening.
joro: The bass is not very well defined, agreed. Maybe some furthur eq'ing I can get it to fit in there somehow. I found the lead guitar too loud as it is, but I'll check it. Thanks Joro.
Cyrokk: The kick is another oddity on this track. I can't seem to get it to stick out. Again I blame the clashing freq's on the acc's and bass. I'll try and straighten that out as well. Thanks for checking it out.
freshears: Well, I played these drum tracks quite awhile ago, so maybe I was getting better 'at that time'

I haven't played drums in ages. Plant got
Married and I hadn't seen him since!

Thanks David.
smellyfuzz: Thanks, glad you liked it.
jimmychalk: Glad you liked it as well.
Thanks for the feedback all, appreciate it.
oh btw, the song isn't called 'house cleaning', it doesn't really have a title, the working title was 'weird'.
