solo/mute individual tracks?

Can someone tell me how to activate the feature that allows you to mute or solo individual tracks? If so, how can I make that a default setting? Please HELP!!

Easy!

Simple. Click on the mixer icon on the menu bar at the top. For each track there will be an "M" button - for Mute - and an "S" button - for Solo. Use as needed.

When you save the song, it will retain whatever setting you have for each individual track - muted, soloed, or neither. If you change a setting but opt not to save the change(s), the solo/mute settings will revert to whatever they were before the change.
