The little I heard sounds real smooth.

PS. Where are all those guitar riffs gone from your page...I was really digging those.... it was nice to hear some solo guitar work...you get a great sound!

Cant get it Jeff.NOwhereradio is damn near dead today......2 kbps download right now on cable!Thats worse than dial-up. I'll check it if I can ever get it.

Here ya go guys ... you can download it from me @

mcmd-- thanks alot!!!! I'll repost those clips I did.... for ya... I didnt know anybody liked them :) Cool! Thanks again

Nice Tune Jeff! This has a nice melody all the way through and the little build-ups are nice. This sounds kinda like a guitarist by the name of Hadley Hockensmith.........ever heard of him?

Good stuff. You got some really nice tracks with the new mics......strong clean tracks.I figured you would have more synth/strings in a tune like this but still it sounds great to me just like it is.A guy posted a song yesterday with a rainstick in it,I bet that would sound great in this tune.

What kind of drum machine is that you're using?Software based loops?

Enjoyed it man!;)

This is real good.. I could let this tune play over and over.. just beautiful.. :)

lets hear the recording details.. share the wealth man! :D

way up with the thumb! This is the type of tunes you should be doing..

I could listen to a whole album of this..

Thanks for listening guys!

Kramer-

:) I never heard of Hadley Hockensmith, but he's now the fifth guitarist I sound like  I try to sound like myself, but everybody rubs off on somebody, somehow.
Im using my Triton board to program the drums and then they are getting fed into my mixer in stereo.

Sabbath-

Recording details  .... I dont wanna have to kill ya :) hehe
The only thing different Im doing is using my Octiva mics in stereo and I have all my stereo paths correct this time. The mics are running into the board hard left and right then going into the korg for a little reverb.. back out the keyboard and into mixer, then into the delta. I try to keep the variables down to a minimum or tracing problems in a long path isnt fun. Yeah... I think I finally found my style... I feel very comfortable here. Thanks :)

My monitors are happy with this. I can feel the notes flowing out of them and just kinda circling. Sounds like some fun guitar playing too. So what are the mics?

Very nice playing my friend. My only gripe is that drum. To me it's the one thing that places this on your local forcast on the Weather Channel. That probably sounds rude, but I don't mean to. Everything else just sounds so natural...and sweet...and rich...and a million other great adjectives.

And it doesn't really bother me that much cuz the guitars sound so lush. Very nice job!!! Beautiful.

The intro says Gloria Estefan will be along to sing shortly :D Really nice smooth guit there Jeff. A BIG departure from that shredder we all sawr doin the national anthem :) Excellent recording and mix. Love the little flamenco flavors you threw in there. Sweet arrangement, very tasteful synths. Nice string squeaks -- makes it sound more "personal", or something -- like it's a concert for one. Bass sounds like a big, warm ghost. Not any suggestions on production.

Very nice.

no kidding....I think you hit yourself on the head... ..I mean the nail on the head. This is absolutely gorgeous. Stuff I wish I could do better. I have no negatives. This is perfect. 6 Stars...you even make the drums sound perfect in this context. You pulled it off man!!!

Thanks for the link,...it was worth the wait....too late for me to crank the monitors, ....excellent song and recording. Can't fault a thing.

...a keeper for sure..

Wow! This moves along real nice! Excellent sound on the guitars. I like your mix! This sounds great!

Keep up the good work!

Sorry guys, it looks like line troubles, and a DOS attack.

Hopefully it'll get sorted out soon. Man, why is money so god-damn elusive?

W.

............This is victory isnt it? ............ You banged that little spanish "amiga" you were workin on.........;) :D

J, this is beautiful stuff. .......beautiful
The guitar playing is ........well, its just god damn fine! ......damn it........

The only thing i really, really want to hear is a fretless bass. That would really sit in there nicely.

You do have a touch for this stuff man. I know that ive mentioned this reference before, but have you heard of Ottmar Liebert? If you havent, I highly recommend that you take your talented guitar playin ass out and git some Luna Negra :D
Check out a live album called "Viva". He does stuff very very similar to this........... and I "GUARANTEE" that you will dig it.

Very nice stuff man........ I'll be listening to this for a long time.

bravo.................. G (youve got my 5 stars)

congrats....done...perfect as is my friend. no changes please.

now give up the info :) (you can kill me after you tell me)
what are those mics?
i'm sure it missed this info in a previous thread but, what are the guitars also?

Ditto on the Luna Negra. Excellent track, man! This is what I'll play as I drive over the causeway to Miami Beach - thanks for some beautiful sound!
