Hope this is the right place to post. Baswically I came across alot of my first recordings, done about two years back on Cubasis VST....soooo old! Basically theyre a few folk covers i did with a mate....and some oddballs in there too. Just lemme know what you think, and criticise all ya like, I know a damn sight more about mixing now than i did then! Cheers guys.

Blowin' & Maria's both have good levels. the other two are WAY to quiet.
Blowin' is limited in appeal as it's just a melody over a semi ambient backing. the other tracks seem more interesting maria's have more development to it.
I'd import them into whatever you're using now & retrack some stuff whilst tweaking others. Some normalizing or dB increases would be in order.
Get to it.

thanks dude but I wouldn't even bother re-doing em, they aint worth it! yeah, levels were a bitch for me, its no much easier with Cubase SE. Blowin in the wind is the Neil Young version from Weld...he does it better. Thanks for that!

Good stuff. I like "Marias Bed", I think that would be one worth re-doing. Doesn't sound too bad as it is though. :)

yeah if i only i could lay my hands on the girlish singer. nice harmonica player too.
