Today was a good day! Went to Hell (Guitar Center) with some old gear to trade and a bit of cash, and actually escaped with not only my life, but also a new Peavey Vypyr 30 and Sennheiser e609.
Ran the Vypyr through a quick audition once I got home. I'd fiddled with it for awhile last week at GC, and decided it was worth my time and money. I have 2 words: HOLY CRAP! I'm already more in love with this amp than I ever was with the Vox AD30 I traded in to get it. The Vox was good, and had a wide range of sounds, but the Peavey leaves it totally in the dust (and it's cheaper).
Once I get my next paycheck and go buy the Firebox I've been craving for so long, I might actually have useable material to post here!
