Anyone have any experience with the folowing card :
Hoontech
SoundTrack Audio DSP 2000
24Bit/96kHz 8 analog I/O, SPDIF I/O, 2xMicPreAmp

according to the hoontech site its the same as the ST audio c-port ..

the million dollar question would be ..
are their pre's any good , or do I need to cough up some more money afterwards anyway ?
in that case I might go for a cheapre solution and a seperate pre ..

The pres are useable in their lower range. But past the one o'clock position or so they get grainy. So if I am using line level or near line level signals, everything is fine. I have a little AudioBuddy pre and a small 8 channel mixer with pres that I use for vocals, acoustic guitars etc.
