I've got a Behringer mixer that i just bought (click here to see:

This is the first time I've owned a mixer so i need some help on how I would go about hooking it up to my sound card.

I've got a sound blaster platimnum card.

I want to be able to do multi track recording while still hearing a good mix in my phones.

Any tips on how to do the hook up?

Thank-you

Cal that be an analog mixer so you can forget using the digital inputs on the sound card (spdif).

Run a cable from your mixers main out to the RCA AUX inputs on the soundcard interface.

If you want to monitor the mix 'post soundcard' then plug your phones into the souncard interface.
If you want to monitor 'pre soundcard' then plug you phones into the mixer.

From there you need to configure the soundcard with your mult-track program and enable those RCA AUX inputs.

Hope this helps
