Good fun tune Manslick, quite unhinged, but good fun. I can almost hear it in the 'breakdown' scene of an arthouse film. The drum timing is a bit off (mainly in the fills) but I like the vocal treatment, the bass sound you've got going and the mix sounds well balanced.

Lol, you may wanna seek some therapy , it actually quite grew on me, has that deranged Pink Floyd emotion. A few sloppy drum fills, but the tune really gets going toward the end. Definately a fun track. :p

Yeah, I enjoyed this (as did my two kids in the next room :)). The drums threw me off a bit at first but they settled in pretty well as it went along. Definitely has a demented roger waters kind of thing going on. Fun.

I love it! Sort of a Pink Floyd meets Plastic Ono Band vibe. You definately take the theme as far as it'll go. VERY cool.

Heh! Nice song.

I like the accented plosive on "shut uuuuuuuuuuuP" at 2:06. Really non-standard mixing technique there, but you use it well.

Kind of amazing in its simplicity. No notes from me.

I think the ragged drums coming together is a deliberate ploy - & a good one. Anyone who wasn't going to listen wouldn't have lasted until they did those who did were rewarded with a super long uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuP.
You reminded me of some of the more off the wall Harry Nilsson songs.
I have to say I enjoyed it. I can't relate as we didn't use s***up in our house., but I can enjoy it.
I was waiting for the narrative development - something like - "When I was a little boy my mummy said to me, balancing a flagon on her knee, hush litttle darling & don't you cry, mumma's gonna teach you how to fly...out the window. Now s***uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup"
I can understand your reluctance toward development because the song seems to be about arresting just that.
Fun, but you door needs rehanging!

Thanks to yous who made it through this one.

Not much to say really. The idea came from something I read about Lennon and scream therapy. This one cracks me up. Having a wee bit of fun.

I have the Lennon Primal Scream therapy album - it's cool - My mummy's dead, I can't get it out of my head. & other such delights - it's a GREAT album. Has him sitting under a tree on the cover.

Thanks for the spin Ray - I'd never dump a bunch of development on you guys. Hell I wouldn't know where to start.

I've only heard bits of that but I gotta say doing this was cathartic.

I liked everything but the drums. They're terrible. These drums seem like they could be the poster boy for out of phase overheads or stereo miking gone wrong. The rest sounds good though.

I almost mentioned that Lennon song - "Mother" - reminded me of that a little - great song -

Hehe...I can understand Greg's comment on the drums, but I really like what you did here. The other stuff apart from the drums sounds really good, especially the guitars and the voice. The singing has that schizophrenic character that goes with a song like this. An enjoyable listen.:)
